When it comes to fundraisers, there really aren't many more noble causes than raising money for cancer, still among the nastiest and most unforgiving diseases on the planet. It's for that very reason that we here at Conicelli Hyundai take so much pride in our sponsorship of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Conshohocken this spring.
In fact, the Conicelli Autoplex will be a silver sponsor for this year's event, which will feature several teams and area businesses raising and donating money that will go directly to the American Cancer Society.
For those that aren't familiar with the Relay for Life events, they essentially consist of area people teaming up to camp out at a designated area like a high school or fairground while taking turns walking around a track or path for 24 hours. The idea is that since cancer never sleeps, the people taking part in the event won't sleep for 24 hours, either. It's a symbolic gesture of support for those that suffer (or have suffered) from the disease, and it's one that we are legitimately excited to be a part of.

The event will take place on May 17th this year at Sutcliffe Park on 10th Avenue in Conshohocken, so we hope to see some of our loyal customers there, supporting an organization working so hard to cure a disease that has taken entirely too many lives.
