September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For every new Hyundai sold at Conicelli Hyundai, a donation is made to Hyundai Hope on Wheels. Hyundai Hope on Wheels is a nonprofit organization that is committed to helping kids fight cancer. The goal of the organization is to fund research and create awareness for childhood cancer.
In 2021 Hyundai Hope on Wheels will surpass $185 million dollars in donations to pediatric cancer research. Over the past 23 years, HHOW has funded more than 800 grants and there are currently over 280 research projects underway. In 2021, they will announce an additional 40 pediatric cancer research grants. These grants will support innovative treatment approaches, create new discoveries, and can provide new ways to improve the quality of care for children fighting cancer.
