Highlights of the 2023 Kona EV
The Kona EV is a powerful machine as a subcompact SUV. Powering this model is a 64-kWh battery pack used to power a 150-kW electric motor. With this setup, the Kona EV can produce 201 horsepower and 291 pounds-feet of torque. Plus, at full charge, this model has a range of about 258 miles.
As for its features, the Hyundai Kona EV has plenty. Several of its features include keyless entry, push-button start, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, wireless charging pad, a sunroof, a blind-spot monitor, and a head-up display.
Highlights of the 2023 IONIQ 5
New for the 2023 model year is the IONIQ 5, Hyundai’s second attempt at an electric vehicle. This model is comfortable, practical, and generously equipped, making it another great choice in Hyundai’s EV lineup.
Powering this model is an electric-only powertrain with multiple potencies. The standard-range battery paired with a single, rear-mounted electric motor generates 168 horsepower. While the longer-range battery, with the rear-drive configuration, generates up to 225 horsepower. With the standard battery, the IONIQ 5 is estimated to provide 220 miles of range, and the larger battery pack is rated at 266 miles with dual motors and 303 miles with a single motor.
In terms of features, this model also has a lot to offer. Found throughout its various trims are heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, and an automated parking system. As for its safety features, this model has Forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist - all come standard.
